ACTION PLAN

Council Board Members 

1.  Conduct well organized meetings that are firm, direct, educational, timely and interesting. Meetings should maintain the integrity, goals and purpose of the Citizens Council and its supporters.

 2.  Notify heads of city, county, state and national government to voice the Council’s opinion on situations within the community, happenings at local schools, vandalism, business fraudulent hiring practices, etc.

 3.  Develop petitions, letter writing programs, email lists and provide commentaries to educate members with the consequences of and solutions to the problems caused by illegal immigration. 

 4.  Provide information to Council members and insight to local and national issues.

 5.  Establish letter and email formats for members to use.  Provide drafts that can be altered as desired by members.  

 6.  Notify members of meetings, local happenings, news events and/or other points of interest that may not be available to members.  

 7.  Invite VIP's to every Citizens Council meeting, i.e. city, county, state or national figures.  Make invitations known to the public in advance.

 8.  Develop a mail, email, telephone and address directory for local, state and national figures.  

 9. Develop a Call to Action Plan, email, telephone or other communications to coordinate simultaneous efforts of members.  i.e. swamp the Majors office with calls on a specific issue.

 10. Develop a monthly calendar of events, i.e. phone in dates, email programs, meetings and coordinated efforts.

Council Members

1.  Write to the editors and local newspaper columnists to discuss views and opinions on a regular basis.  2.  Write e-mail messages and telephone city, county, state and national public officials and offices with concerns and opinions.

 3.  Attend as many Citizens Council meetings as possible.  Invite friends, co-workers, neighbors to attend meetings.

 4.  Respond to calls for action from the Citizen Council Boards members.

 5.  Report local businesses suspected of hiring illegal aliens to appropriate government offices.
